Dan Morris N.D., D.N., Diplomate is the founder and co-owner of Integrative Health Sciences Institute. Dan holds the following certifications and diplomas: Certified Massage Therapist, Medical Massage Therapist, Medical Manual Therapist, Master Manual Therapist–diploma, Diplomate of Manual Therapy–awarded by the American Medical Massage Association, the American Manual Medicine Association, and the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences, Certified Chiropractic Assistant, Master Herbalist, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Medi-Spa Massage Therapist, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and Certified Medical Acupuncture Technician. He also has completed studies in Business Ethics, Patient Management, as well as Medical Administration. Dan is also licensed as a massage therapist, L.M.T., in the State of Michigan.
Dan completed his education by applying to and being accepted into the Naturopathic/Naprapathic Medicine–Professional Diploma Program through the American Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, a 5,054 clock hour program taught by Dr. Gregory T. Lawton, D.N., D.C., D.Ac. Dan graduated with honors in April of 2013 with diplomas in both Naturopathic Medicine and in Naprapathic Medicine. He was also awarded the title of Diplomate in Naprapathy by the Academy of Scandinavian Mobilization Therapy.
Dan holds three certificates of teaching in Massage and Manual Therapy as well as the Natural Healing Arts.
Dan has also enjoyed a very successful private practice in Manual Therapy from 2001 to present. He has developed many of his own protocols and techniques. He also teaches Medical Massage Therapy at IHSI Institute of Massage.
Co-owner Pamela L. Morris L.M.T., M.M.T., Diplomate, C.A., M.H. holds the following certifications and diplomas: Certified Massage Therapist, Medical Massage Therapist, Medical Manual Therapist, Master Manual Therapist–diploma, Diplomate of Medical Massage Therapy, and Diplomate of Medical Manual Therapy–awarded by the American Medical Massage Association, the American Manual Medicine Association, and the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences. Pam is also a Certified Chiropractic Assistant as well as a Master Herbalist which was awarded to her by the Blue Heron Academy. Pam is also licensed as a massage therapist, L.M.T., in the State of Michigan.
Pam has enjoyed professional private practice since 2001 and has developed curriculum for the American Medical Massage Association’s Continuing Education Program which she also taught.
Pam has two teaching certificates in the areas of manual therapy and complementary medicine.
